OOB Virtual High School Challenge
Out of Bounds Volleyball Club is hosting a virtual competition for local high schools! Competition might look a little different post-COVID-19, but the players can not wait to compete again and we are here to make that happen.
OOB is inviting high school teams to compete in our OOB Virtual High School Challenge! This is a fun 2-day event that will motivate teams to get back into fitness while having the chance to win amazing prizes for their team and players! We recently participated in JVA’s Challenge and we thought we would bring the fun to them!
Out of Bounds Volleyball (OOB) is a non-profit sports organization that is dedicated to the teaching and training of volleyball in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. Our focus is to make sure every girl gets an opportunity to play regardless of their socioeconomic background. We love to provide opportunities for our community and hope to do so by hosting this event for our local high schools!
The challenge is simple- teams have to obtain the most steps possible starting Friday, July 31st at 8 AM until Saturday, August 1st at 8 PM. All steps must be recorded through the app, StepApps Pedometer*, to keep all step counting fair and even. This App is compatible with both iPhone and Androids. Here is the link to download: iPhone OR Android. During this weekend teams will be competing by not only having the most steps but by also showing us all the fun they are having while doing so! 4 $10 Gift Cards Starbucks that can be sent virtually to winners
On Sunday, August 2nd, Coaches will have until 8 PM to turn in screenshots of their player’s steps for both days from the chosen app. This will also be the deadline for all pictures or videos to be posted on Instagram. Winners for all contests will be announced on Tuesday via our Instagram @oobvolleyball and email.
