Summer Program 2020-5 week update
Time flies when you are having fun! Our Summer Programs 2020 began on June 28th, and we have officially made it to the halfway mark. Our program focuses on the individual skill development of each player.
During these past 5 weeks, we have noticed our beginner session players get more comfortable with their volleyball techniques. For some, this is their first time playing volleyball, and to see how far they have come is exciting. We see potential in each of them if they continue to practice this sport. Our intermediate session has seen results as well. Part of intermediate players include members from our club teams such as Macie from 16 Navy Blue, Danielle from 14 Navy Blue, and Madison and Sariah from 13 Navy Blue. Most of the players in this session have been working on pushing themselves to improve their skill level. Coaches focus on showing them how to improve each skill set. Overall, the group of players have benefited much from individual skill development sessions.
To celebrate our progress, OOB hosted a mini luau for our players during the week 5 practice. We invited each player to dress up in their most luau themed outfit for a prize. Winners won a Cold-Stone gift card. We also had mini-games and prizes for each of them to participate in and enjoy.
