OOB Volleyball- First College Recruitment Meeting

OOB’s mission to allow any player the opportunity to play club volleyball regardless of their social-economical background. We understand how important playing a sport can be in the life of a child. Not only does it build great characteristics such as leadership, teamwork, communication skills, but for many it is an opportunity to go to college. It opens doors for players who never envisioned playing at a college level or even attend college. Club volleyball gives player the exposure for colleges to recruit them and give them the opportunity to play and study.

As a club, OOB wants every player to be aware of the opportunities to be recruited by a college. Coach Dee will be hosting the first college recruitment meeting on Monday, October 26th a 6PM. At this meeting, he will be sharing information on all things recruitment— expectations, rules, requirements, etc. This is an important conversation to have if your player is really interested in playing college volleyball. It’s the beginning of the season and we want every player to know what is expected of them this recruitment year.

OOB strives to help our players become college volleyball players, but most importantly encourage every player to attend a higher level education and we are ready to help them get there.
