OOB Volleyball-Dig Pink Event Success

On Wednesday, October 21st we celebrate our first club event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

During club practice time, we encouraged players to participate in our 3 different activities:

First, we had out PINK OUT!  All players were encouraged to wear pink to support and bring awareness to Breast Cancer. Participating players were entered in a raffle, one raffle per team, and one winner per team. The raffle item was an exclusive OOB PINK SHIRT.

Second, was our FIGHT activity.  We had our players participate in a scrimmage & knock out playoffs between our teams. Scrimmage Results:

Third, to show our SUPPORT, we encouraged players to set aside some time for players to write supportive cards to breast cancer fighters in our community. OOB will be sending these out to breast cancer fighters.

At the end of our event, OOB players wrote over 100+ supportive cards for breast cancer fighters in our community. Our hope was to bring awareness to this important cause and reminding our players to support these warriors in our community. We hope our players enjoyed it as much as we did.
